AYSO U-5 Program Re-Branded to Jamboree

AYSO is currently in the process of re-branding the U-5 soccer program, from U-5 to Jamboree.
 
What is hoped to be accomplished through the re-branding is a better understanding of the program's age-appropriate format, and the ways that format differs from the older age divisions.
 
Parents often incorrectly expect that the Jamboree U-5 program will look like traditional soccer, and some Regions may tend to group U-5 and U-6 players together, not fully understanding the development differences.  
 
The re-branding should assist in making these facts more widely-known.
 
With AYSO's new coaching manuals shortly going to press, this was the optimal time to make a change. The Jamboree label will be a rolling change in all other materials and references.
