Become A CVPA
Become A Volunteer
The most important thing at AYSO is not the ball or the game or the outcome of the game – it's the kids. Every precaution is taken to ensure their safety. Volunteers receive similar consideration. The Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA) maintains the requirements of AYSO’s Safe Haven™ program through performing volunteer screening, serving as a resource to the region’s members on the requirements for reporting suspected child abuse and by reviewing child protection and supervision responsibilities with all key volunteers.
All of the AYSO rules and protocols are in place to protect players and volunteers. Each Region needs a responsible and conscientious volunteer to see that they are implemented. If you are interested in filling this important position, contact your Regional Commissioner.
