Making the Move from Clubspaces: FAQs

Below are some common questions regarding ACTIVE’s move to LeagueOne and eTeamz and how it will affect AYSO members that are currently Clubspaces clients.

What is the reason for the move?
LeagueOne is the future of ACTIVE’s league management software and they are dedicating all of their team sports resources to this product. There are many features and functionalities in LeagueOne not currently available in Clubspaces. Click here to view a demo.

Will LeagueOne integrate with eAYSO?
No. ACTIVE will no longer have an automatic integration to eAYSO. You will now need to download, install and use the eAYSO Offline application to get your players into eAYSO. Volunteers will continue to register ONLY through eAYSO. eAYSO is now 100% eSign and continues to offer free registration to all AYSO Regions. For information transitioning your registration at this time to eAYSO, please email clubspaces@ayso.org.

What does the move mean for me?
LeagueOne (and eTeamz, ACTIVE’s website management tool, which is available with or without use of LeagueOne) is available for you to transition to as soon as your season allows. After July 2013, ACTIVE will move all its remaining team sports resources over to LeagueOne, and Clubspaces will begin the process of shutting down. We recommend that you move before July 2013 for the smoothest transition possible.

What are the next steps?
If you choose to move to LeagueOne, the move will be a team effort between you and ACTIVE. You will receive a call from Brady Harrington shortly to see if you wish to schedule your move. If you’d like to reach Brady immediately, you can call 858.605.4841 or email him at Brady.Harrington@ACTIVEnetwork.com. At that point, one of ACTIVE’s experts will get you set up in LeagueOne and help you get started. It’s easy! You can also prepare yourself by signing up for your free eTeamz PLUS account (PLUS account available to you for one year, standard eTeamz account is always free) and setting up your website in eTeamz. What are eTeamz and eTeamz PLUS?
eTeamz is a free sports website for teams and leagues. It offers more professionally designed templates than Clubspaces and helps manage team rosters, schedules, player stats, social media and more. Click here to learn more. eTeamz is available for your website with or without enrollment in LeagueOne.

I’d like to move but am in the middle of a registration period. What can I do?
We would be happy to schedule you for an implementation time that aligns with the seasonality of your program. Please tell us what timing works best for your organization. Is this move for everyone in AYSO or just me?
This move is for all Clubspaces clients. Due to the number of organizations, it will take a few months to move everyone over but we encourage you to move as soon as possible to get settled into the new product before your next season. If you schedule your website move before July 31, 2013 you can take advantage of the waived set up fee and free eTeamz Plus account.

What happens if I don’t make a decision or decide not to move to LeagueOne and eTeamz?
ACTIVE strongly recommends League One and eTeamz as your new league management software. If you don’t chose to move to LeagueOne, your Clubspaces account will be closed at the end of the year. Between now and then we will send you updates, timelines and information to help you make a decision and prepare.

Can I redirect my existing URL?
A redirect of your existing Clubspaces site can be done through July 1, 2013. Step-by-step instructions are under the help section on your Clubspaces website. Your eTeamz site is available with or without moving your player registration to LeagueOne. Organizations with a custom domain will need to contact their domain provider and provide updated IP information.

What will happen to my old content on Clubspaces?
After your move to LeagueOne and eTeamz you will still have access to view and download your old content in Clubspaces through the end of 2013. Be sure to pull whatever data you need before then.

Where can I get an eTeamz Plus coupon code for my organization? The AYSO National Office has been provided coupon codes for your local organization. Email SheaM@ayso.org for the codes.
